We have also reserved two special tracks specifically for Late Breaking News and Product Presentations. See details below:

Special Tracks

  • Late Breaking News - The Planning Committee will be reserving a number of speaking spots on the program for "Late-Breaking News Sessions". These presentations are reserved for developments "So New" that they could not be proposed by the previous conference session submission deadline. These session will be awarded at the discretion of the conference chair and program committee. Deadline to submit late-breaking news presentations is September 16, 2005.

  • Product Presentations - The Planning Committee will be reserving a number of speaking spots on the program for "Product Presenations". Product presentations are forums used by the XML developers and product suppliers. Deadline to submit late-breaking news presentations is September 16, 2005.

XML 2005 Conference sessions are geared for:

  • High Level Audience - suitable for attendees who wish to see the "big picture". Sessions are designed to give an overview of a topic, discuss the business aspects of a technology, and/or cover a number of related topics. These sessions may contain some technical content, but will not include in-depth technical detail.

  • Technical Audience - suitable for attendees who wish to go into detail about a specific topic. Sessions will be structured for a more technical audience. Attendees will probably require some prior knowledge of the subject to fully understand the contents.

  • High Level/Technical Audience - suitable for all attendees. These sessions will be geared toward all audience levels and will contain presentations that include both "big picture" discussions along with some technical content.
